The rubric for this project does not require much more than me taking peer-reviewed journal entries, relating them to specific chapters of our textbooks, and then presenting them in a way that makes it easy for people to understand the subject matter. I chose to synthesize information from a few medical journal articles with the chapter in our textbook on STIs. Not because I am particularly interested in the subject matter, but because the textbook claims to not know why there are such significant health disparities among Black Americans surrounding STIs.
