Chlamydia

The STI, Chlamydia, is caused by the bacterium Chlamydia trachomatis. It is most commonly associated with painful urination, genital discharge, fever, body aches, and swelling in the pelvic region.

It seems that, as with most living things, Chlamydia has chosen evolution over extinction. As if the world with Chlamydia were not scary enough, imagine “The Clap” working for applause by adding a painful rash to its repertoire.

Please know that a Chlamydia rash is relatively uncommon. If one were to appear, it would most likely manifest as itchy boils on the inner thigh. Unfortunately, after scouring the internet for 4 days, I have not been able to find a picture of Chlamydia rash of dark skin. However, several websites claim that on dark skin tones the rash presents as small dark or purplish bumps. Below is a picture of the rash on white skin.
